Special
Abilities/High Tech Dentistry By
having been educated at one of Europe’s top dental schools
and having participated in post doctoral programs at UCLA
and USC I supply knowledge of special treatment approaches
used in both, Europe as well as in the US.
This combined background enables me to treat you in the best
and most professional manner possible. Moreover, I speak several
languages: German, Hebrew, French, besides English naturally.
We use the following High Tech Tools:
 |
1)
Video monitor built in a digital pair of glasses
Watch your favorite DVD movie with surround sound while
you are getting dental work done. This is an incredible
tool, which enables you to relax and be in another world
while I work on your teeth. |
2)
Intra-Oral Camera
The intra-Oral camera allows you to see your teeth on
a plasma TV. Would you like to see why your tooth has
cracked or chipped? How does your old silver filling look
like? Watch the camera walking through your mouth and
watch clear video pictures. Understand the dental conditions
in the mouth. |
 |
3)
Drill-less Dentistry
Air abrasion, laser dentistry and electro surgery are the
names of the new dental technologies. "Drill free cavity
preparation" such as air abrasion gives the dentist the
ability to remove cavities without the use of traditional
drilling instruments (dental handpieces) .Therefore the noise
of the conventional dental handpiece is eliminated and the
dentist can remove small cavities without having to give an
injection! It uses micro particles with compressed airnd abrades
away the decay in a “pain free” and “noise
free” environment.
4) Electric Handpieces
Electric Handpieces versus air driven handpieces have
a much higher torque and power, therefore allowing cutting
the tooth much more precisely and faster and cleaner.
Crowns fit better, require very little if any adjustment
at the seat appointment. Electric handpieces are used
in europe since 1960 and just got introduced to the American
market in 2000. |
 |
 |
5)
Laser Cavity Detector
This is the newest technology from Germany in the detection
of cavities. A Laser beam analyses your tooth density
and detects cavities at their earliest stage. Where X
rays have their limitations, this tool is helping the
dentist to diagnose to perfection. |
5)
Magnification
I use a special pair of high magnification loops (glasses)
that enables me to perform perfect, precise and accurate
work. When working with precision loops, even the slightest
inaccuracy becomes visible, making the fit of crowns
and bridges superior.
