Dr. Joseph M. Goodman
  D.D.S./D.M.D.


Born and raised in Germany, he attended his dental education (1990- 1996) in one of Europe's top dental schools, the University of Aachen. He finished his studies and doctorial thesis in Germany with great honors, Magna cum Laude, where he achieved his degree of Dr. Med. Dent. (DMD.) Dentists in Germany are trained in all categories of dentistry; therefore dentists are able to treat patients for extractions, root canals, reconstructive dentistry and dental surgery. Although trained in all categories of modern dentistry, his main interest always lied in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive Dentistry (prosthodontics).

After working in Germany, Switzerland and London for several years, he immigrated to Los Angeles in 1998. He took the California Dental Board at UCLA and received his second degree as Dr.of Dental Surgery (DDS) with high grades. Furthermore, he participated in the "Advanced Education in Prosthodontics" post graduate program at USC and the "Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at UCLA. Both programs as well as many post doctoral courses in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry give him advanced knowledge and hands on skills in these great fields of modern dentistry.

He has lectured internationally in Paris (1998), Germany ( 2010) and London (2009) about cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. He has been featured in many articles and interviews

Dr. Kim

Graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelors of Science majoring in bio-chemistry. Upon completing her studies, she attended University of Loma Linda School of Dentistry.　 She worked in several dental offices and traveled abroad to Korea, Mexico, and South Africa to educate and volunteer her dental services before joining our dental group in 2006. She also performs our scaling and root plannings (gum deep cleaning), non-surgical periodontal (gum) procedures, laser gum treatments and is a certified expert in the use of the Diagnodent (laser cavity detector).

  Terry

Is our dental assistant and has been a part of our team for many years. She also supervises the Laser Whitening Spa in our office, where we have three laser whitening equipments available for use. They can be used simultaneously for example if a husband and wife want to get their treatment done at the same time. It takes approximately 1 hour.

 

  Erika

She has been with our office since 2004. She received her dental assistant certificate in 2003 and therefore is able to answer all questions in regards to your dental treatment from your insurance benefits to how the treatment is completed. She handles all insurance benefits, claims and treatment plans. She may also assist you with scheduling your appointments.

 

 Marsha

She has joined our team recently. She compliments our office in many ways with her warm personality and charm. Marsha is available to answer any questions you may have and schedule your appointments. During her free time she enjoys traveling to her native country of Belize, Brazil.
